The human body has natural, low-level electrical currents that enable inter and intra cellular communication through electromagnetic signaling. In injured tissues, this signaling is disrupted or diminished and your cells cannot perform their functions efficiently.
Microcurrent uses very low amperage current (30-50 microamps) to help stabilize electrical activity in injured and/or painful tissues. Research shows that microcurrent can enhance healing and lower pain levels in a shorter period. Microcurrent therapy can be used for osteoarthritis, post-surgical pain, chronic tendinopathies, scar tissue, sciatica, sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, and more.
This product consists of a comfortable shoulder and arm wrap (Velcro) that can fit on either shoulder and be worn underneath a shirt or blouse. A small microcurrent battery-powered unit snaps on to two, metal terminals to deliver the current. Recommended usage is 2-3 hours, twice a day.
Microcurrent units last about 4 months with regular use. Replacement units are available.
