This wrap is specially designed to wrap around the shoulder to treat shoulder pain, such as from rotator cuff tears/ sprains and strains; impingement, arthritis, and bursitis/ adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder). It is powered by an included rechargeable power bank, making it portable.
The product contains 96 light emitting diodes; each diode containing one (1) 660 nm visible red light emitter and two (2) 850 nm invisible, near-infrared emitters. 660 nm is the wavelength that induces photobiomodulation in weak and injured cells, helping them heal faster by increasing their energy output and membrane transport. It also reduces inflammation, and therefore alleviates pain.
The 850nm near infrared LEDs generate deep-penetrating, radiant heat which increases circulation to the damaged tissues (more oxygen and nutrient delivery); further enhancing repair.
